Announcement
1 General
This competition is held from
January 27th till January 29th 2006 in the town of
Pardubice, Czech Republic, and is conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2004 and Special Regulations Synchronized Skating 2004, as well as all pertinent ISU Communications. Participation in the International Championships of Czech Republic 2006 is open to all teams who belong to an ISU Member, Rule 130, paragraph 7) and qualify with regard to eligibility according to Rule 102, provided the ages fall within the limits specified in Rule 108, paragraph 3 a) and they meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements according to Rule 109, paragraphs 1 and 2 d.
A
Senior team shall consist of 16 - 20 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of fourteen (14) before July 1st 2005.
A
Junior team shall consist of 12 - 20 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of twelve (12) before July 1st 2005 and may not have reached the age of nineteen (19) before July 1st 2005.
A
Novice team shall consist of 12 - 20 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of ten (10) before July 1st 2005 and may not have reached the age of fifteen (15) before July 1st 2005.
Each team may have up to a maximum of four (4) alternates listed on the Team Entry Form (Rule 701, paragraph 3 c) and 3e).

Senior Teams

Novice Teams

4 Entries
Each ISU Member has the right to nominate two teams to each category. The host member is not bound to this restriction.
Entries for
Teams, nominated Judges, Coaches, Team Leaders and Team Managers must be made only by the respective Members and must reach the Organizer
not later than December 16th 2005.

5 Entry Fee
The entry fee of EURO 300,- per team is due at the time of application. Please, transfer the fee to the following bank account:

Should a team withdraw after December 27th 2005, the entry fee will not be refunded.
6 Technical Panel and Judges Panel
In accordance with Rule 720 each ISU Member may nominate
one (1) Judge listed on the ISU list of Referes and Judges for Synchronized Skating 2005/2006.- The host ISU Member may nominate two(2) Judges listed on the ISU list of Referes and Judges for Synchronized Skating 2005/2006. The Referees, technical Specialists and technical Controller will be nominated by the Organizing Committee and chosen from the respective ISU list for Synchronized Skating 2005/2006. The Judges´ Nomination Form must be sent to the address mentioned under 4) not later than
December 16th 2005.
The Draw for the Panel of Judges will be made at the
Judges´ Meeting held on Friday, January 28th at 16.00 hours in the CEZ Arena.
The Judges Round Table Discussion is held on Sunday, January 29th after the Victory Ceremony.
7 Expenses Provided
Travel expenses will be paid to the Technical Panel and Referees only.
The organizer will provide
accommodation for the invited Technical Panel, Referees and the nominated Judges.
Meals will be provided for the invited Technical Panel, Referees and the nominated Judges starting with Dinner on January 27th and ending with Breakfast on January 30th 2005.

The reservation will be made when the entry is received.
The OC will provide
transportation the Referees and Technical Panel from/to the Prague airport or Pardubice Main Railway Station free of charge.
8 Practice
The official practices start on Saturday, January 28th 2006. The Novice teams and then the Junior and Senior teams will take the ice according to the starting order. Each team will be allowed a ten (10) minutes´ session for the Short Program and twelve (12) minutes´ period for the Free Program free of charge. After the Official Draws no extra practice will be available.
Additional practices can be booked for Friday, January 27th 2006 - in one of three blocks (the first 09,00 - 12,00, the second 12,00 - 15,00 and the third 15,00 - 18,00). The charge for one 15 minutes´ practice is EUR 50,- and the deadline for applications is December 15th 2005.
9 Music
The music of each Team is to be furnished in excellent quality on cassettes or CD (Compact Disc) format in accordance with Rule 724, paragraph 1.
Cassettes and CDs must show the event (Senior, Junior, Novice), the Team's name and nation and the exact running time of the music. They are to be submitted at the time of the Registration.
The titles, composers and orchestras of the music to be used for the Short and Free Skating programs must be listed for each team on the official Music Information Form and attached to the official Entry Forms, according to ISU Special Regulation Synchronized Skating 2004, Rule 768, paragraph 7. If music information is not complete and tapes or discs not provided, accreditation will not be given.
10 Planned Program Content
The precisely filled Program Content Sheet must be returned to the Organizing Committee together with the entry forms within the deadline.
11 Registration/Accreditation
Accreditation will be given to the ISU Office Holders and Guests, the Technical Panel, Referees, Judges, Team Members, one Coach and one Team Manager per Team. Furthermore, each Team can be given the accreditation for 2 more Officials, 1 Team Leader and 1 Medical Attendant. Each Member Federation confirms the function of each Team Member with the official entry form given the Composition of Delegation.
The registration starts on Thursday, January 26th 2006 in the CEZ Arena.
12 Result Calculations
All the results will be calculated electronically according to the
ISU Special Regulation Synchronized Skating 2004, Rule 738 ff (the ISU Judging System).
The three best teams in each category will be honoured at the Victory Ceremony. The national anthem of the Winner will be played and the national flags of the medal winneres will be hoisted.
13 Liability
In accordance with Rule 119, it is the sole responsibility of each Member participating in ISU Events, to provide medical and accident insurance for their athletes, officials and all other members of the Member's team. Such insurance must assure full medical attendance and also the return to the home country.
The Czech Figure Skating Association and the Organizing Committee assume no responsibility for or liability with respect to bodily or personal injury or property damage incurred.
14 Accommodation
Accommodation is not provided by the Organizer (except for the above given cases).
Teams are recommended to contact the following hotels and accommodation facilities - see attached map.
15 Transportation
The Organizer does not arrange transportation for the teams. However, transport from the Ruzyne Airport in Prague to the town of Pardubice and/or back (the approximate distance of 130 km taking 2 hours) can be booked with the OC at the price of EUR 300,- (one-way price).
16 Meals
Meals are not provided by the Organizer (except for the above given cases). However, it is possible to book Saturday's and Sunday's lunch (available in the Venue) at the price of EUR 6,- each.
